Policies & Terms
At Stonhaus Design, we are committed to providing transparency, quality workmanship, and a smooth experience for every customer. Please review our policies below to better understand how we operate.
1. Estimates & Consultations
All estimates provided by Stonhaus Design are based on the information available at the time of consultation. Final pricing may vary if project scope, measurements, material selection, or site conditions change.
Quotes are valid for a limited time due to fluctuations in material pricing and supplier availability.
2. Material Selection & Variations
Natural stone is a product of nature. Variations in color, veining, texture, and pattern are normal and are not considered defects.
Customers are encouraged to view and approve their selected material prior to fabrication. Once fabrication begins, changes may not be possible without additional costs.
3. Fabrication & Measurements
Precise measurements are critical for proper fabrication. Final measurements must be completed before cutting begins.
Stonhaus Design is not responsible for incorrect dimensions provided by third parties. We strongly recommend professional measurement verification prior to fabrication.
4. Payment Terms
A deposit is required to secure material and begin fabrication. The remaining balance must be paid according to the agreed schedule, typically prior to final delivery or installation.
Accepted payment methods will be outlined in your estimate or invoice.
5. Project Timeline
Timelines vary depending on material availability, project complexity, and scheduling. While we strive to meet estimated deadlines, delays caused by material suppliers, site readiness, or unforeseen conditions may impact completion dates.
6. Returns & Cancellations
Because most stone products are custom-cut and fabricated, they are non-refundable once fabrication has begun.
Cancellations after materials have been ordered may be subject to restocking fees, depending on supplier policies.
7. Care & Maintenance
Customers are responsible for proper care and maintenance of their stone surfaces. We provide general care recommendations; however, improper cleaning products or misuse may damage the surface and void any applicable warranty.
8. Warranty
Stonhaus Design stands behind the quality of our fabrication workmanship. Any warranty provided covers fabrication defects but does not cover natural stone characteristics, misuse, structural movement, or improper maintenance.
Details of workmanship warranties will be provided in your project agreement.
9. Liability
Stonhaus Design is not responsible for pre-existing structural issues, cabinetry instability, plumbing, or electrical conditions that may affect installation or long-term performance.
